On 26 August 2023, the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) organized a «Diplomatic Crisis Management Seminar: Integrating Theory and Practice», at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC). The seminar was attended by leaders of the ministry and heads of Cambodian missions abroad.

The seminar provided broad understanding of crisis management and enhance the decision-making and communications as well as the leadership skills in crisis situations.

Addressing at the session, His Excellency Dr. UN Kheang, Secretary of State, as the representative of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stressed the importance of Cambodian diplomats' role in prompt response to crisis situations throughout various scenarios in insuring interests of Cambodia and its people abroad.
