On May 05, 2021, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ministry of Health, State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar and the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Cambodia, assisted 18 Cambodian citizens, including 8 monks, who completed their jobs and stranded in Myanmar, to return to Cambodia through a Relief Flight of Myanmar Airways International (MAI), arranged by the Government of Myanmar in order to repatriate Myanmar Citizens from Cambodia.
In spirit of containing, preventing and combating COVID-19 pandemic, the Embassy provided them PPEs, N95 masks, face shields and surgical gloves to protect from COVID-19 infection during the travel.
