On 28 September 2021, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to Myanmar assisted 66 Cambodian nationals, including 14 monks and 1 nun returning back to Cambodia via Myanmar’s relief flight which was arranged in order to repatriate Myanmar’s citizens from Cambodia. The Embassy’s team also assisted Cambodian monks for the exemption of more than 300 kilos of religious books from Myanmar Airways International (MAI) to bring to Cambodia. This flight marked the 7th relief flight jointly collaborated between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to repatriate our respective citizens since the start of COVID-19 pandemic.
