On 12 December 2022, H.E. Dr. NHIM Khemara, Secretary of State and the Head of the Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group (EDCG), high representative of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presided over the training course on “Culinary Diplomacy” at the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) with the participation of spouses of the newly appointed ambassadors and chefs at the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia abroad.

In line with the Economic Diplomacy Strategy (EDS) 2021-2023, the training course is organized in hope of sharing knowledges on food diplomacy – a powerful tool for diplomacy in the modern days in order to enhance relations between countries, and promote tourism and cultures, especially Cambodia’s culinary arts on the international stage.
