On 31 October 2023, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Martin Vávra, Ambassador of Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.

Both sides noted with deep satisfaction the traditional relations and good cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Czech Republic and underlined the importance of further strengthening cooperation in mutually beneficial spheres.
 
His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister expressed his profound appreciation to the Czech government for the kind assistance and support extended to Cambodia, which has remarkably contributed to its socio-economic development, including education, health, as well as other sectors. 

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to further promote cooperation in trade and investment as well as to have more exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries.
