On 09 March 2024, His Excellency SOK Chea, Ambassador of Cambodia to the Republic of Türkiye and Chair of the ASEAN-Ankara Committee (AAC), organized the AAC Friendly Badminton Tournament in collaboration with the Turkish Badminton Federation and Sportoto. The participants and players were ambassadors, diplomats, and their families from the embassies of ASEAN member countries in Ankara, along with the Turkish badminton players, with a total of nine countries under the theme "Sports Live In Peace," to strengthen and expand friendship and cooperation, as well as to promote a broader awareness of ASEAN among the Turkish people.
