On the morning of July 10, 2024, H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presided over the opening session of the Joint Meeting of the 3-pillar ASEAN National Secretariat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The meeting was subsequently led by H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia. Its purpose was to review the progress and receive updates on ASEAN affairs across each ASEAN Community Pillar, ensuring Cambodia's positions on key regional and international issues are aligned, and to thoroughly prepare for the upcoming 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and the 44th-45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Laos.
