On 11 July 2024, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received His Excellency Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.

Leaning against the backbone of cordial partnership between Cambodia and Russia, His Excellency the Secretary of State and His Excellency the Ambassador engaged in discussions regarding the  prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two nations in both bilateral and multilateral spheres. They reiterated their commitment to bolster the caliber of their economic ties through various key mechanisms including the Intergovernmental Commission.

A number of regional and international matters of common concern were also discussed.
