On 27th July 2024, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, attended the 14th East Asia Summit (EAS) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

The Meeting reaffirmed the importance of the EAS as a premiere Leaders-led forum for strategic discussion in the region and ASEAN’s central role in the EAS process. The Meeting welcomed the substantive progress made under the new EAS Plan of Action (2024-2028) and also exchanged views on regional and international developments of common interests and concerns.
