On 08 August 2024, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Wang Wenbin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated His Excellency Wang Wenbin on his appointment as the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia and stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stands ready to work closely with him and Chinese Embassy in Phnom Penh to contribute to further promoting Cambodia-China bilateral relations. His Excellency Wang Wenbin expressed his sincere gratitude to His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister for receiving the courtesy call and his warm words.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and His Excellency Ambassador highly appreciated the continuous development of the bilateral relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between Cambodia and China, which cover almost all areas. His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and His Excellency Wang Wenbin also discussed the further strengthening of the ironclad friendship and deepening of diamond cooperation to contribute to building a high-quality, high-level and high-standard Cambodia-China Community with a Shared Future.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that during his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, His Excellency Ambassador will actively contribute to bringing further significant achievements to Cambodia-China relations.
