On 08 August 2024, His Excellency SOM Visal, Under Secretary of State, received a courtesy by Mr. NAGASE Kensuke, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia, at the Ministry.

His Excellency SOM Visal congratulated Mr. NAGASE Kensuke on his appointment as the Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia. Mr. NAGASE Kensuke expressed his gratitude to His Excellency Under Secretary of State for receiving the courtesy call and his warm words. His Excellency Under Secretary of State and Mr. NAGASE Kensuke affirmed their readiness to work closely together to contribute to the strengthening of Cambodia-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

His Excellency Under Secretary of State expressed confidence that during his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, Mr. NAGASE Kensuke will actively contribute to bringing further achievements to Cambodia-Japan relations.
