On 25 September 2024 on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation had a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Andrii Sybiha, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, at the United Nations Headquarters, New York. 
Both sides discussed efforts to further promote bilateral ties and cooperation in multilateral framework. 

After their productive meeting, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and His Excellency Andrii Sybiha, signed the Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic,Service or Official Passports.
