On the afternoon of 08 October 2024, Her Excellency KHIEV Sophany, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a meeting with Her Excellency Milena Caridad Zaldivar Piedra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry. 

Both parties discussed the expanding cooperation between the two countries especially in the maintenance of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Cuba and the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Cambodia through the implementation of the Reciprocal Exemption Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Cuba of the Respective Diplomatic Missions/Consular Offices.
