On 10 October 2024, on behalf of His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chairman of the National Coordination Committee for United Nations Peacekeeping Operations, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, Secretary of State and Vice Chairman of the National Committee, led a delegation of the Ministry to pay tribute to the late His Excellency General SEM Sovanny, 1st Vice Chairman  of the National Committee and DirectorGeneral of the National Centre for Peacekeeping Force, Mine and ERW Clearance, who passed away due to illness on 08 October 2024, at his residence.
