On February 14, 2025, His Excellency Ambassador Keo Chhea, Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the United Nations, received His Excellency Mr. Mahmoud Daifallah Hmoud, Permanent Representative of Jordan to the UN, a candidate for the position of a judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to fill the vacancy following a resignation of a judge.  Ambassador Mahmoud Daifallah Hmoud also informed his vision and experience in the field of international law.

The two Ambassadors also exchanged views on various global issues facing the United Nations as well as recent developments.
