On 19 February 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the 21st ASEAN-Russia Senior Officials' Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The meeting reviewed the implementation of ASEAN-Russia cooperation, including the Comprehensive Plan of Action (2021-2025) and the development of the Comprehensive Plan of Action (2026-2030). The meeting also discussed the future direction aimed at strengthening the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership through the cooperation areas under the three pillars of ASEAN, as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues.
