On 18 February 2025, His Excellency Ambassador Keo Chhea, Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the United Nations, addressed the United Nations Security Council High-Level Open Debate under the theme: “Practicing Multilateralism, Reforming and Improving Global Governance”, convened by the People’s Republic of China as the President of the UN Security Council for February 2025 at UN Headquarters in New York. 
His Excellency the Permanent Representative emphasized the importance of strengthening multilateral mechanisms, upholding the principles of the UN Charter, fostering dialogue, respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, and, most importantly, promoting peacebuilding and sustainable development.
