In the afternoon of May 6, 2021, His Excellency Chay Navuth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Vietnam, and the Embassy’s officials had a meeting with the newly-appointed Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam.

On the occasion, H.E. Ambassador congratulated and wished His Excellency Minister, who has received the trust from the Party and State of Vietnam and has been assigned the important task. H.E. Minister said that Vietnam-Cambodia were good neighbors and had a long-standing traditional friendship. Regarding the current COVID-19 outbreak in Cambodia, H.E. Minister expressed his sympathy over the difficulties from the outbreak. His Excellency Minister announced a donation of 30,000 medical masks to three relevant ministries in Cambodia, which each ministry will receive 10,000 masks.
