In the afternoon of May 14, 2021, His Excellency Chay Navuth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Vietnam, and the Embassy’s officials paid a courtesy call to His Excellency Vuong Dinh Hue, newly-appointed President of the National Assembly of Viet Nam. On the occasion, H.E. Ambassador congratulated His Excellency President, who had been entrusted by the State of Vietnam and the Party with this important task in developing Vietnam's economic.

His Excellency President said Vietnam-Cambodia were good neighbors with a long-standing friendship and highlighted the cooperation between the two countries to prevent and fight against Covid-19. His Excellency hoped to pay an official visit to Cambodia at an appropriate time and also invited the President of the National Assembly of Cambodia to pay an official visit to Vietnam.
