In the afternoon of 11 August, H.E. Mr. Cheuy Vichet, Ambassador of Cambodia to Malaysia, attended and delivered remarks at the official virtual launch of Bakong Cross-Border Payment and Remittance between Cambodia and Malaysia, jointly organised by the National Bank of Cambodia and Maybank Malaysia.

This project would offer an easier payment and remittance between the two countries and in the region through Bakong App, which users can install it in their smartphones. ​Particularly, the program will offer an easier access for overseas migrant workers to send their money to their family safely and affordably with less risks.
