On 29 September 2021, H.E. Nhim Khemara, Secretary of State and Head of Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on behalf of H.E. Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, received a courtesy call by a delegation of Big C Supercenter (Cambodia) Co., Ltd which is a subsidiary of Beril Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) of Thailand. They took the opportunity to deliver a presentation on the overview of Big C Supercenter and its investment project in Cambodia.
H.E. Nhim Khemera expressed his support and praised the Big C’s project in Cambodia. He also emphasised the importance of the “Economic Diplomacy Strategy 2021-2023”, recently launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which aims to contribute to realising the national visions of the Royal Government of Cambodia to become an upper-middle income country by 2030 and a high income country by 2050 while strengthening cooperation and expanding partnership with national and international actors and enhancing socio-economic development.
