On 24 October 24 2021, in order to contribute to implementing Cambodian Economic Diplomacy Strategy, the Cambodian Embassy in Japan organized an event to showcase Cambodian cuisine based on the "Taste of Angkor" book to Japanese students studying Khmer at the University of Tokyo and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

The embassy also invited a Japanese teacher who knew Khmer traditional dance to show and explain the meaning of the dance. Meanwhile, the embassy officials taught participants the traditional dance and also dressed them in Khmer traditional costumes.
