On the morning of 17 February 2022, His Excellency Cheuy Vichet, Ambassador of Cambodia to Malaysia, delivered remarks via zoom at the opening of the “Malaysia-Cambodia Business Forum 2022”, co-organized by the Council for Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the Malaysian Business Council in Cambodia (MBCC), and presided over by His Excellency Sok Chanda Sophea, Minister attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary-General of CDC.

This forum aimed to introduce Cambodia’s new law on investment adopted by the parliament in October 2021 and was participated physically and virtually by about 200 Malaysian businessmen, entrepreneurs and investors in the region as well as officials from various ministries of Cambodia.
