On 25 August 2022, H.E. Mr. SOK Soken, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cambodia’s Alternate SOM Leader for Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) led the Cambodian delegation to attend the ACMECS Senior Officials’ Meeting in Vientiane, which was hosted by the Lao PDR and joined by all ACMECS SOM Leaders. During the meeting, H.E. Mr. SOK Soken provided significant inputs on directions of relevant mechanisms under the ACMECS framework, and recommended the technical working groups to accelerate the discussion on substantial documents in preparation for the upcoming 10th ACMECS Summit.
