On 13 September 2022, H.E Dr. CHEM Widhya, Secretary of State of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a Courtesy Call by H.E. Mr. Carlos Humberto Jimenez Licona, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to the Kingdom of Cambodia with residence in Bangkok.

Both sides exchanged views on the current political and economic development​ in their respective countries and expressed their commitments to promote the bilateral and multilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.
