On August 30, 2022, His Excellency TUY Ry, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Japan, met with representatives of the Transport Cooperative Association and discussed Cambodian labor force’s potentials and the recruitment procedures for Cambodian trainees and skilled workers to work in Japan.

Representatives of the association pledged to recruit Cambodian workers to work in their member companies and enterprises, as well as pay attention to ensure a better working and living environment for them.

The meeting contributed to expand the Cambodian labor market in Japan by encouraging Japan Management Association and companies to recruit more Cambodian workers.

In addition, the Embassy also worked closely with the Management Association and Japanese companies to provide support and contribute to promote the well-being of Cambodian trainees and skilled workers in Japan.
