On 22 September 2022, His Excellency Ambassador HUN Han and Lok Chumteav, together with ASEAN Ambassadors / Charge d'Affaires and spouses, participated in the two following ASEAN programs: ​ 1) Handover ceremony of the Chairmanship of the ASEAN-Kuwait Committee from theEmbassy of the Republic of Indonesia to the Embassy of Laos PDR and 2) ASEAN Flag-Hoisting Ceremony.

Hosted by Her Excellency Lena Maryana, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Kuwait, the two ceremonies were attended by Mr. Abdullah Turki Alturki, Vice assistant of the Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait, in charge of Asia Affairs, and representatives from ASEAN dialogue partners including the United States, the European Union, Canada, Japan, South Korea, China, India, Australia, Russia, and the United Kingdom, as guests of honor.
