In the afternoon of 05 December 2022, H.E. Dr. CHEM Widhya, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. João Bernado De Oliveira Martins Weinstein, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal to the Kingdom of Cambodia with Residence in Bangkok, at the Ministry after His Excellency  João Weinstein has presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, in the morning of the same day. During the courtesy call, both sides expressed strong commitment to further enhance and deepen the existing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, especially between the two Foreign Ministries and in the fields of trade and education.

Both sides  also exchanged views on  regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
