Representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on 14 December 2022, H.E. Dr. CHEM Widhya, Secretary of State, attended the​ celebration of the 25th Anniversary of The German Apsara Conservation Project (GACP) at Angkor, in Siem Reap.

On this occasion, H.E. Stefan Messerer, German Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, hosted a reception with the presence of Lok Chumteav Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts of the Kingdom of Cambodia and H.E. Ambassador Ralf Beste, Director General for Culture and Society at the German Federal Foreign Office as guests of honour. Mrs. Cristina Zametzer, Head of the Cultural Preservation Programme of the German Federal Foreign Office and Prof. Dr. Sylvia Heuchemer, Vice-President of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, were also present together with other representatives of the diplomatic community and the conservation work.
