During the week of February 13^th 2023, His Excellency Chhiv Yiseang, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and member of the Economic and Social Council (CES) representing the Asia-Pacific region for the Francophone University Agency (AUF), participated in the third meeting of the CES in Montreal, Canada. The objective of this gathering was to prepare the participation of the CES in the 3^rd World Week for Scientific Francophonie, which will be held from October 30^th, 2023 to November 3^rd, 2023 in Quebec.

As the Vice-President of the Regional Commission of Economic and Scientific Experts (CREES) representing the Asia Pacific Region, as well as President of the RESIFAP, H.E Chhiv Yiseang displayed the particularities of our region’s Francophonie, which is at the heart of global gravity and where French is a language of cultural, professional, and economic opportunities.

In view of the 3^rd World Week for Scientific Francophonie, education and vocational training issues were the main themes of H.E Chhiv Yiseang’s interventions, as they have been Cambodia’s major source of concern.
