On 06-08 March 2023, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cambodia's ASEAN SOM Leader, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) and Related Senior Officials Meetings, including the ASEAN Coordinating Council Working Group on Timor-Leste, the 35th ASEAN-US Dialogue, the 25th ASEAN-India Senior Officials' Meeting, the ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials, and the East Asia Summit Senior Officials’ Meeting (EAS SOM), at Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Meeting deliberated on many important ASEAN-related issues, including the strengthening of ASEAN's capacity and institutional effectiveness, the updates on Timor-Leste membership in ASEAN, and the cooperation with external partners, particularly India and the U.S., as well as cooperation under the APT and EAS frameworks. The Meeting also discussed regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
