On 07 April 2023, H.E. General Neang Phat, Minister Delegate attached to Prime Minister and Standing Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defence, and H.E. Kung Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), co-chaired the inter-ministerial meeting to deliberate on the establishment of the High Level Task Force on ASEAN Political and Defence Cooperation at MFAIC.
