On 14 June 2023, H.E. Mr. SOK Soken, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cambodia’s Alternate SOM Leader for Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS), attended an informal ACMECS Senior Officials’ Meeting, which was hosted by Thailand in Bangkok and attended by ACMECS SOM Leaders from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

The meeting has exchanged views on the latest progress under the ACMECS framework as well as new initiatives to be included in the next ACMECS Master Plan (2024-2028) and prepared key outcomes for the 10th ACMECS Summit.
