On July 29, 2023, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to Japan, in collaboration with the Green Business Cooperative in Ibaraki Prefecture, organized a visit and a solidarity football tournament with 120 Cambodian trainees' participation under the presidency of His Excellency Tuy Ry, Ambassador of Cambodia in Japan.

His Excellency Ambassador on that occasion informed them about the current development in Cambodia and the smooth and successful process, as well as the results of the national election held on July 23, 2023.
 
His Excellency Tuy Ry also advised all Cambodian trainees to work hard in accordance with Japanese law to avoid unlawful acts, not to believe in the lure of brokers, and run away illegally, which leads to the loss of the usefulness of the health insurance system. They are also encouraged to study Japanese to facilitate work and daily life, improve their skills and plan their lives when they returned to Cambodia.

His Excellency Ambassador also met with JITCO representatives, local police representatives, management association leaders and company representatives who have Cambodian interns working on their farms and factories, and asked the President of the above company to have an understanding if Cambodian trainees and skilled workers make their mistake because of a poor Japanese language  understanding , and examine the possibility of recruiting more Cambodian trainees in the coming days, in which the Embassy is always ready to cooperate with Japanese associations and companies.
