On the morning of 02 August 2023, His Excellency Ouch Borith, Minister Delegate Attached to the Prime Minister and Standing Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation received a courtesy call by Ms. Bridgette L. Walker, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the United States of America in Phnom Penh to introduce herself for her new diplomatic term in Cambodia.

While warmly welcoming Ms. Walker, His Excellency Ouch Borith assured her of the Ministry’s full cooperation for the successes of her tenure.

Both sides exchanged views on the on-going areas of cooperation, and discussed regional and international issues. In the meantime,​ recognizing the United States as one of the largest markets for Cambodia, both sides shared the views on the importance to encourage more U.S.’s investment into Cambodia.
