His Excellency Keo Chhea, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United States of America, participated in the celebration of the procession of the Phkaprak and Vesak Candles with the Cambodian community in Virginia. The event took place on August 6, 2023, at the Ratanaransi Buddhist Temple. During the religious ceremony, the monks were invited, Paritta was chanted, and the Phkaprak and Vesak Candles were paraded around the temple before being presented to the monks as offerings.

Furthermore, while attending this event, His Excellency took the opportunity to engage with members of the Cambodian-American community in both Virginia and Pennsylvania.
