In the run-up to the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Jakarta, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, on 04 September 2023.

The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the importance of advancing ASEAN’s Community-building efforts, aligning with the vision of “ASEAN: One Community, One Destiny.” The Secretary-General affirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s full support for Cambodia and the other member states towards achieving ASEAN Community Vision for 2025 and beyond.
