On 08 September 2023, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call and held a productive discussion with His Excellency Zaheeruddin Babar Thaheem, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry. Ambassador Thaheem expressed warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea on his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The dialogue centered on enhancing the existing bilateral cooperation aimed at boosting mutually beneficial interests, especially in the realms of diplomacy, economic and trade between Cambodia and Pakistan.
