On 23 November 2023, Her Excellency Dr. SOEUNG Rathchavy, Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Santo Darmosumarto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry. 

During the meeting, Her Excellency Secretary of State warmly congratulated His Excellency Santo Darmosumarto for being newly appointed as Ambassador of Indonesia to Cambodia and wished him a successful diplomatic mission in Cambodia. His Excellency Ambassador expressed his high appreciation and sought support and close collaboration of the Ministry during his tenure. 

The two sides expressed satisfaction with the progress in bilateral relations, which have grown from strength to strength in many fields, and agreed to further enhance and expand cooperation in prioritized areas including political-security, economics, trade, investment, people-to-people linkages, and the fight against human trafficking and transnational crimes. The Cambodian side expressed its commitment to work closely with the Indonesian side to continue strengthening the bilateral relations and deepening the close cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
