His Excellency Emmanuel MACRON, President of the French Republic, extended an invitation to Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to pay an official visit to the French Republic on 18-19 January 2024. France holds the distinction of being the first European nation that Samdech Thipadei will visit since assuming office in late August 2023. The forthcoming bilateral meeting between Samdech Thipadei and President MACRON represents an auspicious opportunity for both governments to reaffirm their collective commitment to elevating traditional relations to a new height, strengthening and expanding cooperation within bilateral and multilateral frameworks mutually beneficial to the two nations, and collaborating to tackle global challenges and uphold a rule-based international order.
