On 24 January 2024, His Excellency Dr. CHEM Widhya, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Her Excellency Petra Sigmund, Director-General for Asia and the Pacific of the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, co-chaired the 2nd Round of Bilateral Consultations between the two Foreign Ministries in Berlin. Both dignitaries discussed emerging issues and reaffirmed their commitment to cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks as well as exchanged views on key regional and global issues of common concern.
