Responding to reports’ inquiries about Cambodia’s position on a "Six-Point Common Understanding on Political Settlement of the Ukraine Crisis” jointly issued by the People’s Republic of China and Brazil on 23 May 2024, I wish to underline that:

Cambodia supports the China-Brazil Six-Point Common Understandings on the Political Settlement of the Ukraine Crisis, recognizing its efficacy in addressing four critical priorities on the ground: (1) preventing further escalation of tensions and fostering a conducive atmosphere for dialogue between Ukraine and Russia, (2) mitigating the humanitarian crisis, (3) averting a nuclear crisis, and (4) bolstering efforts to enhance food and energy security and stabilize supply chains.
