On the morning of 8th August, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation hosted the ASEAN Flag Hoisting Ceremony to commemorate the 57th  anniversary of ASEAN's establishment in 1967. The event was presided over by His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and attended by heads and representatives of diplomatic missions in Phnom Penh. This ceremony is part of ASEAN’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the community-building process and to highlight the numerous achievements ASEAN has made over the years.
