On 20 August 2024, Her Excellency RATH Many, Under Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, led the Cambodian Delegation to attend the 12th Mekong-ROK Business Forum in Vientiane, Lao PDR.  
The Forum, under the theme "Capacity Building of SMEs to Enhance Connectivity in the Mekong Region", was co-organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR and the Republic of Korea in order to maintain the momentum for stronger public-private partnership and provided the opportunity for SMEs in Mekong countries and ROK to build business linkages, identify and explore potential business partners in order to expand their respective businesses. 
During the panel discussion, the Cambodian representative from the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation presented the current situation of SMEs in Cambodia, especially, the introduction of the National Strategy for the Development of the Informal Economy 2023-2028, that includes offering tax incentives, such as exemptions from certain taxes and fees for SMEs that voluntarily register.
