On behalf of His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with His Excellency Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, Vice Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway on 26 November 2024, at the Ministry.

His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak expressed his warm welcome and appreciation to His Excellency Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik for his participation in the Siem Reap-Angkor Summit on a Mine-Free World. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to Norwegian government for being a long-time supporter of demining activities in Cambodia since early 1990s as well as for its contribution to the Extraordinary Chamber in the Court of Cambodia. In response, His Excellency Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik expressed his thanks for warm welcome and cordial hospitality extended to him and the Norwegian delegation, especially an opportunity to pay a courtesy call on Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister.

Both sides also discussed further deepening and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and Norway especially in economic development and investment. They also exchanged views on multilateral cooperation such as ASEAN and international law.
