On the morning of 20 December 2024, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the High Representative of Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, presided over the closing ceremony of the UN Triangular Partnership Programme (UNTPP) at the Training School for Multinational Peacekeeping Forces, Kompon Speu Province.

During that ceremony, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister expressed appreciation to Japan, Korea (ROK) and Australia as well as the United Nations for co-organising this programme with the participation of both national and international trainees. His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister stressed that it was the honor for Cambodia to host this event, which demonstrated the recognition of Cambodian armed forces’ capability and experience in the field of peacekeeping operation over the past 20 years. He added that it would also contribute to further enhancing the trainees’ ability and efficiency for their future peacekeeping operation.
