On the evening of 24 March 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, hosted a cocktail reception at  Sofitel Phnom Penh Hotel to commemorate the International Francophonie Day under the theme "I educate myself, therefore I act out", with the participation of approximately 120 distinguished guests, including government officials, legislative bodies, foreign diplomatic representatives, regional representative of the International Organization of  Francophonie (OIF) for Asia and the Pacific, and key figures from both the public and private sectors.This celebration also marks the anniversary of OIF, established on 20 March 1970 in Niamey, Niger.
