On 10 July 2017, H.E. Mrs. Touch Sopharath, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Federal Republic of Germany paid courtesy call on Dr. Nobert Riedel, Director of Asia Department at the Federal Foreign Office. Ambassador informed Dr. Novert Riedel about the latest development of Cambodia in achieving the annual economic growth of 7%. Ambassador stressed that without peace and political stability in the country Cambodia would not be able to achieve these remarkable results. On that occassion, Ambassador thanked German government and its people for providing valuable assistance in socio-economic development of Cambodia, especially in sstrengthening the rule of law in this country. The Cambodian Ambassador also welcomed German tourists to visit Cambodia as well as encouraged German companies to invest in Cambodia.
