Five Cambodian workers names ៖ But Pheap from Kampong Cham Province, Pev Sokvat from Kampong Speu Province, Lay Bora, Thev Pheap and Houn Chea from Stoeung Treng Province, came to Malaysia illegally through Thai Border in 2016 to work at wooden factory. On 7 July 2017, the 5 workers came to the Embassy to seek help so that they can be returned to Cambodia.
\r\nThe Embassy has coordinated with the Malaysian authorities and they arrive in Phnom Penh International Airport on 28 July 2017.
\r\nThe Embassy has provided accomodation and food to the 5 workers during their stay.
