On 17 October 2017, H.E Touch Soparath, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Federal Republic of Germany, attended the BAC (Berlin ASEAN Committee) meeting, chaired by H.E. Mr. Laurence Bay, Ambassador of Singapore to Germany, at the Waldore Astoria Hotel, Berlin. The purposes of meeting were: summarize the BAC activities (July 2017 to October 2017), prepare for a visit to Berlin by ASEAN Secretary General H.E Le Luong Minh, decide on ASEAN Day for next year, and discuss the details of BAC trip to Dusseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia. The meeting was followed by the Farwell Lunch for Dr. Thomas Gambke, Chairman of the German-ASEAN Parliamentary Friendship Group.
